How to Check Deposit Fee

Deposit fee exploits do happen. And this page exists to give you a peace of mind.

ANY changes to MasterChef parameters have to undergo a 24 hour timelock. Be it multiplier changes, adding or removing of new farms and pools, or even changing the deposit fees to any farm or pool. For the uninitiated, this means that without a timelock, any farm can have their deposit fees cranked up to 100% with users none the wiser. Any new funds that are deposited into the farms and pools will never go back to you.

How then, do we make sure we that our deposit fees are what we say they are? This page teaches you how to tell.

Step 1: Access our MasterChef here.

Step 2: Look for "Contract"

Step 3: Select "Read Contract" and proceed to scroll down to "11. poolInfo"

Step 4: Refer to the table below for the respective poolIDs and enter it into the field in Step 3, and hit "Query".

Step 5: Look out for the number in the depositFeeBP field. That is where you can see the current deposit fee.

It's 0 here. Which means no deposit fees. Yay!

Table of Active PoolIDs * Take note that Deposit Fees are in factor of percent. So for example, 300 is 3%, 1000 is 10%.
